Elcometer 3230 Wet Film Wheels
Elcometer 3230 Wet Film Wheel is a high-precision and easy-to-use device consisting of three wheelsets for measuring wet film thickness on flat and curved surfaces. The central wheel has a smaller diameter and is eccentric to the two outer wheels.

Description
The measuring apparatus is passed through a wet coating, and the center wheel finally touches the film. This dot on the scale indicates the thickness.
The mounting arm suitable for the wheel is available in two lengths; 15cm (6″) or 50cm (19″). (Please order separately.)
When the volume/solids ratio of the coating is known (usually found in the product data sheet provided by the manufacturer), wet film thickness can be used to estimate dry film thickness.
Various measuring ranges are available, from 0 to 25μm and 0 to 1,000μm (o to 1mil and 0 to 40mil).
Suitable for flat and curved surfaces.
