



Elcometer 456 Integral Coating Thickness Gauge
The Elcometer 456 Dry Film Thickness Gauge, also referred to as a Paint Thickness Meter, is available in three different models. Each coating thickness gauge provides the user with increasing functionality – from the entry level Elcometer 456 paint gauge Model B, to the top of the range Model T.
Integral coating thickness gauges are ideal for single handed operation as the wide footprint of the Bigfoot™ internal probe provides greater stability during coating thickness measurement – allowing for consistent, repeatable and accurate dry film thickness results.
Compatible with ElcoMaster® software and ElcoMaster® Mobile App, individual coating thickness measurements can be transferred via USB or Bluetooth® to PC or a mobile device for analysis and instant report generation.

Whether you are measuring on smooth, rough, thin or curved surfaces, the Elcometer 456 Dry Film Thickness Gauge produces accurate, temperature stable measurements thanks to its ±1% thickness measurement capability and increased reading resolution.
Factory Calibrated, Ready and Easy to Use
A coating inspector’s time is extremely valuable, that’s why the Elcometer 456 Dry Film Thickness Gauge is factory calibrated for immediate use. What’s more, its enhanced usability menu system, large buttons and colour LCD screens with auto rotate ensure optimum efficiency during inspection.
A Powerful DFT Gauge
The Elcometer 456 Paint Thickness Gauge stores up to 150,000 readings in 2,500 batches. This, combined with the mil gauge’s ability to measure up to 13mm (500mils) of coating on metal substrates, as well its compatibility with ElcoMaster® software, ensures it is a highly powerful solution to measuring dry film thickness on large surfaces.
