Description
Measuring the moisture content of the substrate in porous materials such as concrete, plaster, brick, wood; It is important to avoid problems such as poor adhesion in the presence of possible moisture, premature coating failure and poor appearance. Designed to specifically measure moisture in the substrate, the Elcometer 7000 has two variants:
Pin Type Moisture Meter: Returns the percentage (%MC) of moisture content in the substrate, together with measuring the electrical resistances between the electrodes of pins pressed tightly against the surface of the substrate being measured.
Pinless, Contact Type Moisture Meter: This type of meter, whose sensors are located on the base, measures faster. It is preferred on flatter surfaces such as concrete.
Elcometer 7000PS Digital Moisture Meter Two pin probes allow the gauge to be pressed on to a surface and take a measurement of the immediate area and also has a non-invasive probe on the back of the gauge for moisture detection.
